Women Who Wine "Uncorked Conversations" at Off The Mile 5.24.2017
On May 24th, the Women Who Wine community gathered at Off The Mile restaurant in Coral Gables for an intimate Cuban-inspired food and wine pairing with real conversations.
The pairing was led by Wine Specialist, Pablo Suarez of The Wine Maverick and included:
- Croquetas paired with Benvolio, Prosecco (NV)
- Frita Sliders and Crema de Malanga paired with La Crema, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
- Beef and Chicken Vaca Frita with white rice and maduros paired with Freemark Abbey Winery, Napa Valley Merlot
- Assorted pastelitos de guayaba and queso paired with Crowded House, Sauvignon Blanc.
Guest speaker, Nikki Novo, spiritual mentor and medium opened up the conversation on spirituality and the role it plays in our daily lives and challenges.
Let's just say that it was a very special evening filled with good food, wine and company.
